Job Title: Chemist Location: Monroeville, PA Duration: 06 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm) Pay Rate : $26/hr. - $30/hr. Shift Time: 1st Shift (M-F; 8 AM – 4 PM) Responsibilities: * Safety and efficiently operate equipment to prescribed instructions in lab to complete various stages of chemical processing. * Heating and cooling reactors, operating pumps and vacuum pumps for chemical transfers, distillations, filtrations and drying. * Follow batch sheet instructions to produce products. * Document operations and results for kilo lab batches. * Interface with process development chemists and technicians on a regular basis to advance product development. Requirements: * Associate or bachelor’s degree in a science (chemistry, biology, etc.) related field required. * 3+ years of experience in chemistry/manufacturing laboratory . * Knowledge of chemistry and scientific test methods. #chemist #laboratorytechnician #laboratory #organicchemistry
